Mission Outreach

Support of mission is a major focus for our congregation.  We are among the most generous churches in Mission support in the Presbytery of Santa Fe.  We donate funds, time and talent to outreach missions focusing on local and worldwide needs.  Our Outreach and Mission Committee support local needs with the funds, time and talents of our congregation.  Locally, our church supports Valencia County’s Food Panty, Victims of Domestic Violence, Habitat for Humanity, a Good Friday March water station, and Menaul School.  Our Deacons provide 20 Thanksgiving and Christmas Food Baskets to local needy families.  Also, a portion of our donations is distributed through the Presbyterian Church USA to missions throughout the world.

Facility Sharing

We support the community by opening our building to aid local organizations in special activities.  For example, our building is used as a polling place for local, state, and national elections and by the Belen Optimist Club for their annual Speech Contest.  If you are active in a community service activity and would like First Presbyterian Church’s support, contact us at 864-4560 or please email us at secretary@firstpresbelen.org.
